The importance of autonomy, for the nation and for our customers, has never been greater. That's where the Merlin Pilot comes in. Watch this video as Austin Pugh, Pat Taylor, and Tim Burns explain how our approach to autonomy has enabled us to accelerate our entrance into the DoD market to ensure that our warfighters in the field are given the best technology and capabilities. 

At Merlin, we're building takeoff to touchdown autonomy, which will eventually cover everything from flight planning to air traffic control communications. By focusing on more flights, more active runways, and more active air traffic the Merlin Pilot will be able to connect remote areas, revolutionize cargo transport, and keep human pilots out of harm's way in the hands of the military. Although artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to rapidly transform civilian and military aviation by enhancing operational safety and efficiency, integrating it requires a regulatory approach that balances innovation with safety assurance.
