The Louisiana District Export Council (LDEC) is an award-winning non-profit organization whose mission is to grow Louisiana’s economy by boosting exports. LDEC’s members are business leaders drawn from around the state and appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. Closely affiliated with U.S. Commercial Service New Orleans, an agency of the International Trade Administration, LDEC convenes international business programming, acts as an advisory board, hosts international VIPs, and serves as the voice of the state’s international trade community.
