Investors chill in a room all day - looking at pitches and selecting #startups, while the #founders sweat it out trying to impress the former. While this is how we all imagine #fundraising to be, I got to experience and participate in the coolest reverse pitch - for a place on the cap table. 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐞 #venturecapital investors pitched to 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 startups in 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝒀𝒐𝒓𝒌 to get a chance to invest in them. What a refreshing idea that put FOUNDERS FIRST for a pleasant change! The show was stressful, fun plus VERY dramatic at the same time and was put on by the exceptional Live! From Tomorrow team - Matthew Hooper Rahoul Mehra Bill Stephney, Laney Kraus-Taddeo, Matt Puccini, with Scarlett Sieber.
