This position is for the Chief Financial Officer whose responsibility is to plan, organize, develop, direct, as well as oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial data, for the organization, including but not limited to the hospital, long term care facility and medical practices. He/she will also oversee information systems, health information management, patient accounting, registration and admissions, materials management, plant engineering, environmental services and imaging services departments. This position interprets, coordinates, and administers the policies on finance, accounting, insurance, information systems, internal controls, budget, auditing, payroll, benefits, claims processing, purchasing and receiving in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and procedures and established organization policies and procedures. He/she ensures compliance with all federal, state and regulatory requirements. This position directs operational and financial audits to review effectiveness and budgetary controls of systems and procedures. The position directs the coordination of annual audit cost report and tax preparation with independent public accounting firm. He/she communicates with medical staff, other departments and outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality. The position requires self-motivation, creativity and capabilities to function in a semi-autonomous role within a fast pace and dynamic environment. The position is responsible for the supervision of professional and clerical personnel and reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
This position is for the Chief Executive Officer whose responsibility is to oversee the organization, including but not limited to the hospital, long term care and medical practices. Reports to the Hospital Authority of Liberty County and will oversee 500 team members through 8 direct reports with an annual operating budget of $300 Million. Liberty Regional Medical Center is seeking a personable and approachable leader who embodies the organization’s core values and will have a focus on team member growth and development. Has collaborative style of management that encourages work teams. The candidate will also successfully demonstrate the ability to build relationships. Prior positive experience with Hospital Authority relations, Critical Access Hospitals and DNV Accreditation. Liberty Regional’s next CEO will bring strong leadership as well as financial experience, strategic planning capabilities along with grow opportunities to progress the organization. The leader will be knowledgeable in healthcare management and proven experience in Georgia hospitals.
