Applications for doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships at the ALS are open until April 4. These are a fantastic opportunity to spend a year at Berkeley Lab diving into your research, but don't just take our word for it! Hear from miller shatsala of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (Kenya), who is one of the doctoral fellows at the ALS this year: "I’ve had an incredible research experience at the ALS, working with outstanding hosts—Chenhui Zhu at 7.3.3 and Nobumichi Tamura at 12.3.2. I’ve learned so much about beamline operations, proposal submissions, data collection, and advanced analysis techniques. Additionally, my time at ALS introduced me to the Molecular Foundry, where I’ve built strong connections with Carolin Sutter-Fella’s group on the inorganic floor. ALS truly offers amazing opportunities!" https://lnkd.in/gcf_dC9F cc: Lightsources.org
