Last week, we ended our ER and ICU staff meeting with a patient satisfaction celebration, where the staff heard the positive feedback, they received from patients from our satisfaction survey and our rounding tool. Staff members who were recognized by name got a prize. We appreciate all the hard work that we do daily to provide excellent customer satisfaction.

Our leadership team had the opportunity to recognize our nightshift staff during February's Thankful Thursday event. Leaders rounded on staff with snacks and beverages to show appreciation for all their hard work and dedication to caring for our patients. Our next Thankful Thursday rounds are scheduled for March 20th. We look forward to connecting with our dayshift team!

Our staff members had the opportunity to partner with Cypress High School and the Cypress Police Department to film the "Every 15 Minutes" video. Our frontline staff, first responders, and high school students created an impactful video that shows the damage that occurs if an individual decides to drink and drive. We appreciate the partnership to convey this important message.

February is Heart Health Month, a perfect time to focus on exercises that strengthen your heart and boost your overall well-being. Incorporating activities like brisk walking, cycling, swimming, or even dancing can help improve cardiovascular health. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise three times a week, paired with strength training exercises. Remember, every little bit counts when it comes to staying active and maintaining a healthy heart. Let's prioritize our heart health this month and create lasting, positive changes together.
