This #NationalPublicHealthWeek, we’re celebrating the vital role of Community Health Workers (#CHWs) in building stronger, healthier communities. Through the CDC-funded Community Health Workers for COVID Response and Resilient Communities (CCR) initiative, CHWs made over 1.8 million referrals between 2021 and 2024—connecting individuals to essential health and social services when they needed them most. Their impact is real, lasting, and deeply rooted in community trust. Thank you, CHWs, for being on the front lines of public health every day. #CHWResilientCommunities #CommunityHealth #PublicHealth #NPHW"

Publishing research isn’t enough—translating it into action is what drives impact. A well-designed #knowledgetranslation (KT) plan ensures that research findings inform policies and strengthen health systems. Where should you start? 1️⃣Set clear goals 2️⃣Engage stakeholders 3️⃣Craft messages that “stick” 4️⃣Choose the right format for your messages 5️⃣Measure your progress JSI’s KT Toolkit, developed through the Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance-funded Zero-Dose Learning Hub, provides a step-by-step guide to move from research to action. 🔗 Access the toolkit and start building your KT strategy: https://lnkd.in/eiVMzhhx #ZeroDose #VaccinesWork #Gavi #Immunization

Turning research into action saves lives. Through Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance's Zero-Dose Learning Hub, JSI worked with partners in #Bangladesh to pilot an e-screening checklist based on research findings. Using the checklist, the Bangladesh Learning Hub identified more unvaccinated children and informed real-time solutions—like expanding clinic hours in Dhaka North City Corporation and integrating zero-dose tracking into routine immunization meetings. Investing in research-driven solutions makes immunization more effective and accessible for all. https://lnkd.in/etfgt2uh #ForOurFuture #VaccinesWork #Immunization #HealthForAll

We are proud partners of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, working to increase access to immunization through strategic, community-centered solutions. In #Haiti, we listened to working parents struggling to find time to vaccinate their children and nearly doubled vaccination rates in some communities by extending clinic hours to weekends. It is #humanlypossible to make vaccines accessible to all when we invest in the future of immunization. https://lnkd.in/eugBpRfU #ForOurFuture #VaccinesWork #Immunization #HealthForAll
