Last week, our colleague, Kelsey Chipman, spent some time with retail health and longevity health experts at Harvard Business School, to discuss the future of retail health, and explore innovative strategies to enhance health and well-being. Here are a few key takeaways she gathered from the discussions, that we can all consider as we think about how we as healthcare companies, reach consumers going forward: *Generative AI is transforming the shopping experience for consumers, reducing the time between data and decisions. As a result, marketers will have fewer opportunities to engage with consumers and influence their purchasing choices, so other strategies, like influencer marketing will be key going forward *Gen Z and millennials will dominate purchasing power by 2030, and the transfer of wealth from boomers to millennials will make millennials the wealthiest generation yet *Consumers are increasingly taking healthcare into their own hands, especially as it relates to healthy aging *Take a peek at what consumers are reading to get a sense of what they are interested in (note, “The Anxious Generation,” is currently number four on the NYT best sellers list) A big thank you to the Retail Health Initiative, Project on Managing the Future of Work, and Social Impact Partners | Global Brain Health Initiative groups for including us in these incredible sessions. #healthcare #brainhealth #retailhealth #longevity #marketing
