Cheers to one year! 👏 #OurJacobs is celebrating one year since the construction of Rā Hihi (flyover) began and its part in the Eastern Busway project in Auckland, New Zealand. Work started in March 2024 on the flyover named Rā Hihi, meaning sun’s rays, which is being built near the Pakūranga town center in East Auckland. It now spans Tī Rākau Drive at the busy Southeastern Highway intersection, after a three-night operation to install eight large concrete beams using one of the country’s largest mobile cranes! We’re excited to continue improving connectivity in East Auckland and reducing congestion for drivers, cyclists, pedestrians and public transport users.
