We Failed! Lessons from Hospitality Sustainability Failures Read here: https://lnkd.in/eEPGiXee   The hospitality sector has set bold sustainability goals—but failures in execution are inevitable. The stigma around failure stifles transparency, innovation, and progress. The paradox? The better we perform, the more we emit. And it’s not just emissions—are we failing in staff training, guest communication, or convincing architects and investors that sustainable design is non-negotiable? Yet, failures provide profound learning opportunities.   This month, the Hospitality Net World Panel on Sustainability explores where, why, and how we’ve gone wrong—and how to improve. 🚨🚨JHTE Spotlight Post 🚨🚨 The Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Education is thrilled to showcase the thought-provoking article "Vocational Commitment and Postgraduate Intentions of Gastronomy Students: Mediating Role of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Service Automation (RAISA)-based Economy Concerns" by Dr. Ibrahim CIFCI, Dr. Oguz Taspinar, and Dr. Raouf Ahmad Rather. This study examines the vocational commitment and postgraduate intentions of gastronomy students while considering the mediating role of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Service Automation (RAISA) concerns. Key findings of this research include: • Vocational commitment: Students with vocational commitment are more likely to pursue careers in both the food industry and academia. • RAISA Concerns and Industry Participation: Concerns about RAISA-based automation did not significantly influence students’ intention to join the food industry, also they have a negative effect on their intention to join academia. • Mediating Role of RAISA Concerns:  RAISA-based economy concerns only mediated the relationship between vocational commitment and students' intention to join academia.
