Dear InfraGard San Diego community, This is an exciting opportunity to shape our next generation of security leaders! San Diego InfraGard is very pleased to partner with the San Diego County Office of Education and the Arizona Cyber Initiative along with US Cyber Initiative on a cyber education boot camp for disadvantaged, lower socio-economic high school students in San Diego. We ran our pilot cohort in April 2024 for 21 high school students from the Monarch School in San Diego (photos included in the next post). The inaugural Cyber Bootcamp was a tremendous success, as measured by the survey of the students before and after the camp which demonstrated a tremendous amount learned and an increased possibility of pursuing an education and career in the cyber field.
