Illuminate Cleveland is now live in Public Square, bringing a new energy to the city’s center with a permanent lighting installation that runs from dusk until 11pm. At the top of every hour, a special 10-minute synchronized music and lighting experience transforms the skyline, showcasing Cleveland’s most iconic buildings in a whole new light. To help bring this vision to life, our Special Projects Group partnered with Destination Cleveland, VLS, Osborn Engineering, and Lakeland Electric, Inc. to manage the replacement of existing light poles and foundations with stronger structures capable of supporting the new theatrical light fixtures. We also coordinated the installation of a fully integrated AV system and rooftop lighting across adjacent buildings to deliver a seamless, immersive experience. Project Spotlight: Electric Gardens Apartments Electric Gardens was designed for a new way of living, where home, work, and community intersect under one roof. Located in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood, this high-design property offers 124 sleek residential units, two boutique hotel suites, and over 8,000 square feet of flexible coworking space on the ground floor. At the heart of it all is Limelight, a shared workspace that functions as an extension of each resident’s home. Open floor plans, modern furnishings, ambient lighting, and a coffee and wine bar create a space that invites both productivity and connection. With rooftop views of the downtown skyline, a fitness center, pet amenities, and intentional design throughout, Electric Gardens is a place where creativity, comfort, and community thrive together. This multi-level renovation features three levels of indoor/outdoor bars and food service options to enhance the game day experience. Fans can grab a bite at one of grab-and-go areas on the first floor, enjoy a meal at the public halls/patios, or reserve a private terrace booth featuring temperature-controlled seating situated next to an open bar and buffet combo. In addition to our work as Construction Manager – with Mortenson and The AKA Team – our Special Projects Group has played a key role in bringing this space to life, installing a variety of finishes, including solid surface and stainless-steel countertops, bar fixtures, and woodwork accents. Last week, the DiGeronimo Companies team came together to celebrate the start of our 2025 philanthropic initiatives, led by DiGCo Digs Deep, our employee volunteer program .✨❤️ With community at the core of everything we do, we gathered in our café, enjoying the open doors, sunshine, and great energy as we explored meaningful ways to make an impact. ☀️ As part of our commitment, we participated in an activity for Business Volunteers Unlimited’s Homeless Stand Down, one of Cleveland’s largest annual philanthropic events. 🧦 By pairing up socks to be distributed to those in need, we contributed to this important cause, helping make a difference, one small act at a time. We also hosted a blood drive, where 19 generous DiGCo donors provided lifesaving support to 57 patients in need - another powerful reminder of how small efforts can create a big impact. 🩸 And this is just the beginning!
