A Heartfelt Thank You in Every Brushstroke 🎨✨ As a tribute to our former board chair Joseph A. Blount, Jr., the talented individuals from InCommunity’s Art & Food Program—supported by their dedicated staff—created a beautiful, customized painting. Joe served on our board from June 2019 until his retirement in December 2024, and this piece is a heartfelt expression of gratitude for his leadership. The Art & Food Program continues to showcase powerful works in its gallery, where creativity, color, and community come together. Every piece is a reflection of passion and individuality—and this gift was no exception. #InCommunity #IDD #EmbraceYourAbility

A Sweet Success With Pebble Tossers 🍇🍏🍑 Shoutout to the amazing Pebble Tossers volunteers who spent time at our East Hembree group home, baking delicious fruit tarts from scratch with our residents! 🍓🍊🫐 From slicing fresh fruit to preparing the crust and cream filling, it was a team effort—and a sweet success. While the tarts baked to perfection, we kept the fun going with a lively game of BINGO! Your kindness and enthusiasm made the day extra special. InCommunity Recognizes National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day 💚 Today, on National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of individuals living with cerebral palsy (CP). As the most common motor disability in childhood, CP affects movement, coordination, and posture—but it does not define the incredible individuals who live with it every day. At InCommunity, our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to live full, meaningful lives with the support, inclusion, and opportunities they deserve. On this day, we stand in solidarity with those with CP, their families, and advocates who work tirelessly to break barriers and promote accessibility. 💚 Wear green to show your support! 💚 Educate others about CP and the importance of inclusion. 💚 Celebrate the accomplishments of those thriving with CP. Together, we can foster a world where everyone, regardless of ability, is seen, heard, and valued. Let’s raise awareness and champion a future of inclusion! #NationalCerebralPalsyAwarenessDay #GoGreenForCP #InclusionMatters #InCommunity #CPAwareness
