InCommunity's Staff Attend Cobb County Transition Fair ✨🎉 Last month, InCommunity's staff attended transition fairs for Gwinnett, Dekalb, and Cobb county residents. On March 27th, some of our amazing team members represented InCommunity at the Cobb County Transition Fair held at Marietta High School. The event was a great opportunity to connect with students, families, and educators, and to share resources and support for individuals transitioning from school to adulthood. We’re proud to be part of building brighter futures in our community! We would like to thank everyone who attended and stopped by the InCommunity table to learn more information. #InCommunity #IDD #EmbraceYourAbility #TransitionFair

Celebrating National Siblings Day at InCommunity ✨ Today, we honor the siblings who step up in extraordinary ways for their loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In many families, siblings become lifelong advocates and guardians—offering unwavering support, care, and love when parents can no longer do so. At InCommunity, we've seen firsthand the sacrifices these siblings make to ensure their brother or sister lives a full and meaningful life. Their commitment is powerful—and deeply inspiring. Join us in celebrating National Siblings Day by watching three incredible stories from our InCommunity family. A Heartfelt Thank You in Every Brushstroke 🎨✨ As a tribute to our former board chair Joseph A. Blount, Jr., the talented individuals from InCommunity’s Art & Food Program—supported by their dedicated staff—created a beautiful, customized painting. Joe served on our board from June 2019 until his retirement in December 2024, and this piece is a heartfelt expression of gratitude for his leadership. The Art & Food Program continues to showcase powerful works in its gallery, where creativity, color, and community come together. Every piece is a reflection of passion and individuality—and this gift was no exception. #InCommunity #IDD #EmbraceYourAbility

InCommunity Recognizes National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day 💚 Today, on National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of individuals living with cerebral palsy (CP). As the most common motor disability in childhood, CP affects movement, coordination, and posture—but it does not define the incredible individuals who live with it every day. At InCommunity, our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to live full, meaningful lives with the support, inclusion, and opportunities they deserve. On this day, we stand in solidarity with those with CP, their families, and advocates who work tirelessly to break barriers and promote accessibility. 💚 Wear green to show your support! 💚 Educate others about CP and the importance of inclusion. 💚 Celebrate the accomplishments of those thriving with CP. Together, we can foster a world where everyone, regardless of ability, is seen, heard, and valued. Let’s raise awareness and champion a future of inclusion! #NationalCerebralPalsyAwarenessDay #GoGreenForCP #InclusionMatters #InCommunity #CPAwareness
