We are excited to share that Spark Capital is leading our Series C funding round. The investment values Underdog at $1.225 billion pre-money valuation, nearly tripling our Series B valuation from 2022. Spark Capital’s investment is the largest ever investment in the sports gaming industry from a top-tier Silicon Valley venture capital firm. “Spark’s investment is a real accelerator,” said Jeremy Levine, CEO and founder of Underdog. “We’re going to continue to invest in people and product – and as fast as we can. There is so much more to build, and we’re going to keep building.”

When I started Oats Overnight eight years ago, we were purely direct-to-consumer. It’s been a privilege to hear directly from our community, have them test new flavors, and refine our products based on their feedback. If you’re one of the nearly 90k in our VIP Facebook Group, you know the drill. You can now find these in the protein section of nearly every Costco across the United States. Yes, all 50 states, hello Hawaii! This is an incredible step for Oats Overnight—one that’s already surpassing our expectations. Early sales data is crazy promising. Today Gopal Ramachandran and I are excited to announce Tracer Biotechnologies’s new partnership with AstraZeneca to bring ctDNA monitoring into clinical trials. Tracer has been working for several years on developing better ways to quantify cancer in patients. Doing so has obvious benefits: evaluate whether a treatment works, determine when a patient is cancer-free, and monitor for recurrence. We’re lucky to be living in a time when new technologies are being developed to attack this problem. At Tracer, we’ve been able to leverage advances in NGS, dPCR, computation, and robotics to develop cost-effective, sensitive, scalable solutions for measuring ctDNA levels. Our recently launched tumor-informed dPCR test is currently being used by researchers running oncology clinical trials to quantify response to therapy and monitor for relapse. In parallel, we’re announcing a new round of financing. Huge news today from Anon! We've raised $6.5 million in a seed round led by Union Square Ventures and Abstract Ventures to become the Integration Platform for the AI Internet. This funding will accelerate our mission to become critical identity infrastructure for the AI-powered internet. The story behind Anon is simple. In the early days of the company, Kai Aichholz and I stumbled upon this problem building a different product, and realized the inability for users to delegate access to their accounts would be a critical obstacle limiting the adoption of AI. So we started building "Plaid for AI", or a toolkit for developers to programmatically interact with services on the internet, regardless of the existence of APIs. A year later, it turns out we were right. We have spoken to hundreds of AI companies (and non-AI companies!) that need the product we are building. We have since grown the team to 9 FTEs, raised $6.5mm in capital, and shipped a product that our early customers love. I am grateful to our early partners like MultiOn, Personal AI, and Delphi who are pioneering agent-based experiences using Anon's SDKs and APIs.
