Meet our Emcee and Live Appeal Lead for We ARE Impact! Cupid Alexander, our Emcee for the evening, is the Deputy Director of Housing in San Jose, California, concentrating on enhancing the city's response to homelessness. Cupid Alexander's work in Portland, Oregon—his hometown—involved direct engagement with vulnerable families and strategic roles, including Senior Policy Advisor to the Mayor and Senior Policy Analyst. With extensive experience in diverse communities, Cupid's deep commitment to social equity shapes his thoughtful and compassionate approach to housing issues. Chad Melvin, MPH, our Appeal Lead, is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for Impact NW. Through his position as Executive Director of Strategy at Kaiser Permanente Northwest, Chad contributes a diverse array of experience in public health. Chad says, "I am incredibly proud to serve on this board as Impact NW continues to make a positive and measurable impact on our community!"
