We enjoyed connecting with the student parent field at HOPE 2025! We came together, sharing big ideas and engaging in important conversations about parenting college students and their families. A special shoutout to IF's Enyi Okebugwu and our partners at California Alliance for Student Parent Success and EdTrust, who led a session about the bipartisan power of student parent policies. What did you enjoy most about the conference? Share in the comments below!

Thank you so much Dr. Marilyn Ronoh for sharing your insights and wisdom on what it takes to elevate African #women in research. The Mawazo Institute.
I’m thrilled to be featured in this Imaginable Futures article highlighting how The Mawazo Institute is empowering women researchers in Africa! Research is key to shaping Africa’s future, and I’m proud to be part of a movement breaking barriers and amplifying women’s voices in academia. A huge thank you to Mawazo Institute and Imaginable Futures for championing this work! Let’s keep pushing for more opportunities and support for women in research—our contributions matter! "Dr. Marilyn Ronoh remembers the moment she hesitated to apply for her PhD. “I was a new mum, and it felt daunting to pursue my academic career,” she shares. The uncertainty was overwhelming. Like Dr. Ronoh, many early-career researchers in Africa—especially women—hold back, waiting for ideal conditions or full funding before taking the leap. This hesitation doesn’t just slow their careers—it delays progress for the entire continent."
