This is important to engage with and honor early career technologists and encourage them to have IEEE as their professional home.
IEEE is proud to launch the IEEE Distinguished Young Professional Laureate Forum, an initiative designed to recognize and connect young professionals, early-career technologists, innovators, and researchers with IEEE Medal of Honor Laureates, other IEEE award recipients, and industry leaders. It provides an opportunity to celebrate achievements, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections. Taking place on 23 April 2025 in Tokyo, Japan, just before the IEEE Vision, Innovation, and Challenges (VIC) Summit and Honors Ceremony on 24 April, participants will engage with experts from industry, government, and research, fostering mentorship and collaboration to support future advancements. Young professionals selected for the inaugural forum will kick off an initiative that encourages knowledge exchange, fosters innovation, and supports emerging professionals in shaping the future of technology.
