🚒 Volunteer Opportunity – May 2nd! 🧯 Such a fun way to give back in a meaningful way! The Annual Glendale Fire Department Junior Fire Program Picnic is happening Friday, May 2, and we’re once again looking for volunteers to join us in making this day extra special for some very deserving fifth graders. Every year, we support this amazing event where top students from the Glendale Unified School District's Junior Fire Program are rewarded for excelling in fire safety education. These kids have studied hard, passed a fire safety test, and written essays on emergency preparedness—and this picnic is their celebration! 👩🚒 Volunteer Details: 🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (come for all or part of it!) 📍 Location: Glendale (exact location shared with volunteers) 🎉 Tasks: Set-up, checking kids in, helping with games, food service, and clean-up It’s a fun, hands-on way to connect with the community, support fire safety education, and represent our industry in a positive light. 📩 If you’re available to volunteer (even for just a few hours), drop a comment or message us directly. IBA-BGP's first board meeting of 2025 is scheduled for Friday February 7th out in La Canada Flintridge. If you are interested in joining our 2025 local board of directors for the Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena and SGV areas and getting involved in the slate of events we have planned for this year, we invite you to come out and sit in on this first meeting with us. We would love to have you join us as we carry out the advocacy of insurance for our industry in our community. DM me if you are interested to join the board and we'll send you all the details! Yesterday our board celebrated our collaborations and engagements together as 2024 draws to an end and 2025 begins. IBA-BGP Annual Golf Tournament at the beautiful South Hills Country Club. Thank you to all who came out and sponsors who made this possible. Loved seeing you all out on the green. The weather could not have been more perfect. My group was amazing with me and somehow we pulled off Mixed Group Champs. Must have been the putting by Todd Workman, the nice drives by Subert or all the over and around the tree shots to get us to the green by Michael McFadden. And my orange ball. I only lost 1. Seriously there were so many trees. 👏👏
