🎉 Homeostasis has raised $1.2M in pre-seed funding to accelerate our mission of converting waste CO2 into American-made battery-grade graphite! 💰 This funding comes from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC), Kayak Ventures, and strategic angels, with matching support from the State of Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. 🏭 Working from our facility in the Port of Tacoma, we've just completed our Block-3 reactor — representing a 10x increase in scale from our previous systems. ⚡ Our technology addresses a critical vulnerability in America's industrial supply chain: our dependence on foreign sources for high-purity graphite. Both the DoD and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) have designated graphite a critical mineral essential for energy storage and nuclear technologies. 🔬 We're excited to be working with 11 companies who've already signed up for material validation testing. 🎉 Homeostasis has been awarded a cash grant of $700,000 from the Washington State Department of Commerce. We're proud to be part of #Washington's Energy Strategy and grow the #clean energy supply chain!   🏭 We work out of the Port of Tacoma - where water, highways, railways and downtown converge. Our advanced material products, which we produce from captured atmospheric #CO2, creates a #sustainable supply chain for the #electrification of every industry while erasing past #emissions.   💪 To win this award, Homeostasis was rigorously evaluated by officials at the Department of Commerce on the viability of our business.
