Thanks to the teams at Hyundai Motor America, Genesis Motor America and our outstanding dealer partners for delivering record March and Q1 sales results in the U.S. Hyundai Motor America reported record-breaking total March sales of 87,019 vehicles, a 13% increase compared with March 2024. This was the best March in Hyundai’s history, a record sixth consecutive month of best-ever total sales. March total sales of hybrid electric vehicles were up 72%, while total electrified sales grew by 38%. Hyundai sold 203,554 vehicles in Q1, a 10% year-over-year increase and a record for total sales. Genesis Motor America reported 7,107 total sales in March 2025, a 20% increase versus March 2024. Genesis had a record first quarter performance as well with 17,505 total sales, a 19% increase vs. Q1 2024. Thanks to our customers for putting their trust in Hyundai and Genesis!

Hyundai Motor Group continues to invest billions of dollars in the U.S. creating tens of thousands of jobs. Today our Executive Chair met with President Trump at The White House and announced new U.S. investments of $21 billion over the next four years! This includes a new Hyundai Steel plant in Louisiana and $9 billion in automotive investments. HMG will increase its U.S. production capacity to 1.2 million units annually. This is tremendous news as we prepare to open Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) this week. We are investing $12.6 billion in this facility and two battery joint ventures together with our partners. We are looking forward to officially opening Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) in Georgia next week. It is ramping up production of the 2025 IONIQ 5 EV which is already on sale and preparing to launch the IONIQ 9 EV at the end of Q1. Preparation to add hybrid production is already underway. The company and our partners are investing $12.6 billion in this assembly plant and two battery joint ventures. HMGMA will create 8,500 direct jobs and more than 40,000 indirect jobs in Georgia.
