About us
Our mission is to build a sovereign organization that can produce Hip Hop at a level of authenticity and access, that the corporate industry cannot replicate. We uplift our most empowered voices in the Hip Hop and Activist community, with the power and protection of our 501c3 status to create an economic base of self-determination and take back the ownership of what Hip Hop truly means to the community it originates from. You can join the fight for our culture by going to www.hiphopforchange.org, subscribing to our newsletter, and making a monthly donation to support free education in our communities.

Hip Hop For Change, Inc. reposted this
ROCK THE SCHOOL BELLS!!! Thursday, April 10th, the Hip Hop For Change, Inc. team is back at Skyline College for the Rock The School Bells s annual Hip Hop education conference. An amazing day of discussions, workshops and performances, all centered around Hip Hop as a powerful form of education. I will be providing my lecture “From Gangbangers to Gods” exploring community and collectivism within Hip Hop. We will uncover the lessons learned from groups like The Black Panther Party and Zulu Nation and see how community organizing and activism has influenced Hip Hop up to present day, creating opportunities for Self Actualization and social change that’s needed now more than ever, in the midst of the war against DEI and free speech crack downs on college campuses. Register now to be a part of this amazing program. Can’t wait to really build with the youth and introduced them to new ideas.

HIP HOP HISTORY IS BLACK HISTORY! Huge Shout out to Solano Community College for bringing out the Hip Hop For Change, Inc. team for a songwriting presentation and work shop facilitated by senior artist educators Najee Amaranth aka SumOfMan and co-founder of our Women’s Empowerment program Amani Jade. The team presented in Hip Hop history and facilitated a group rap verse for a diverse group of first time songwriters and ended the program with an open mic share out!
