It's Brain Health Awareness Week! We are honored to have been recognized by Palm Beach County Commissioners, led by Commissioner Bobby Powell, with a declaration of March as Brain Injury Awareness Month. We would like to extend a HUGE Thank You to the Leadership Palm Beach County team for making this opportunity possible and helping us continue to raise awareness about this important cause. 🧠

Stay tuned for more developments. 🇺🇸 #VeteransHealth #HBOT #LegislativeEffort

🇺🇸 In 2017, Texas enacted House Bill 271 – The Veterans Recovery Pilot Program. Despite the absence of a funding mechanism, four hyperbaric oxygen therapy clinics in Texas have united to support our Texan veterans. Through donations and pro bono treatments, they have provided relief for several dozen veterans, firefighters, police officers, and other first responders. Texas, home to the second-largest population of US veterans, estimates that 68,326 individuals suffer from traumatic brain injuries or post-traumatic stress. Annually, approximately 569 veteran suicides occur, with an estimated 5,304 veterans living with opioid use disorder. #TexasVeterans #HouseBill271 #VeteransHealth #TBI #PTSD #HyperbaricOxygenTherapy #MilitarySupport #VeteranSuicideAwareness

🇺🇸 In 2024, the David Perez Military Heroes Act (SB 709) established the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury Alternative Therapies state fund of $1M. Despite the appropriation of funds, there remains uncertainty on how to access and activate these funds. Maryland veterans urgently await access to hyperbaric oxygen therapy for traumatic brain injuries and post-traumatic stress. If you have connections in Maryland government who could assist us in navigating this process, please send us a message. 🌟 #DavidPerezMilitaryHeroesAct #SB709 #VeteransHealth #TBI #PTSD #MarylandVeterans #HyperbaricOxygenTherapy #MilitarySupport
