Spearheaded by First Nations Engineering we are demonstrating a powerful unity and compassion by contributing to National Reconciliation Week and leading a blood drive with the full support of CPC Engineering & Carey Group. Together, we're putting the 'active' in activity as we all unite to contribute towards a cause that transcends boundaries. #bloodunites Blood, the lifeline of humanity, knows no boundaries. It is the common thread that runs through our veins, binding us together in our shared mortality. With each donation, we reaffirm our commitment to reconciliation and solidarity with First Nations people. Did you know? The greatest consumers of blood products are often those battling cancer, a disease that has touched the lives of countless individuals and families. By donating blood, you're not just giving a gift of life; you're offering hope to those who are possibly in their darkest hours. Here in WA, the demand for blood products is constant, with our current stock only covering 7-8 days of need. Your donation can make a world of difference, ensuring that no one is left without the vital support they need. Let's come together, as one community, and make a tangible difference this Reconciliation Week. Together, #bloodunites us all.

Military vs Cancer is a cause that resonates with all who value the sacrifice, resilience, and strength embodied by our armed forces. We are on a mission to support those affected by cancer within the military community and beyond – but we need the support of like-minded companies and individuals who recognise the importance of standing with our heroes in their greatest battles. By partnering with Military vs Cancer, your company can make a tangible difference in the lives of military personnel, veterans, and their families as they face cancer’s challenges. Here’s how you can be a part of this powerful mission: Event Sponsorship and attendance: Support high-impact events like our Xmas Party, Summer Ball, Great North Run, and upcoming Field Gun Pull, providing vital assistance to those who need it most. Corporate Giving & Donations: Every donation fuels critical cancer support and helps us reach those who might otherwise face their struggle alone. Employee Engagement & Volunteering: Join a community of active supporters through meaningful volunteer opportunities that allow your team to give back in a way that aligns with your values. Our military community has stood for us, and together, we can stand for them. If your organisation is ready to make a difference, we would love to hear from you. Message us here or reach out directly to discuss how you can join us in our mission to fight cancer alongside our nation’s heroes. #MilitaryvsCancer #SupportOurTroops #CorporateSocialResponsibility #StandWithOurHeroes #TogetherWeFight #OneTeamOneFight #We’reHereForYourToughestFight

Every donation helps fuel stories of strength like Parker’s. We'd like to express our sincere gratitude to our amazing team for your dedication and hard work. Studies show that a regular gratitude practice can lead to: > Better mood; > Better sleep: > Lower blood pressure; and > Improved immune function. And guess what??? It can be contagious!!! Watch this video and know that this practice can make a perfect day. https://lnkd.in/e2q6suQV PS … It’s not too late to donate or support the cause. Go to: https://lnkd.in/dcJaARuy

Each dose of donated blood can save the lives of three people. Therefore, encouraging people to donate and supporting organizations that collect and deliver blood to places of need is important. Especially in a country at war. During the year of the #Bloom campaign, which covered 10 cities of Ukraine, 40 thousand new donors registered in the DonorUA system. Thanks to this, more than 3 thousand lives were saved. To motivate people to join the volunteer initiative, DonorUA also launched the photo project “See it." This is a series of portraits of donors, along with their personal stories. The people in these photos do not know each other; they have different donation experiences, interests, and values – they are only united by their desire to share blood and help people in this way. Support the DonorUA project and help them attract new blood donors and transport blood to patients: soldiers at the front and wounded civilians: https://lnkd.in/e-DMKFsD

#WorldBloodDonorDay Be a Hero: Give the Gift of Life this World Blood Donor Day 🩸 Every drop of blood holds the power to save a life, to bring hope to those in need and to ignite a beacon of compassion in our world. As we mark World Blood Donor Day, let's pause and celebrate the unsung heroes among us—the blood donors who give without expecting anything in return. In a world often filled with noise and chaos, these individuals embody the true essence of heroism. They step forward, roll up their sleeves and offer a lifeline to strangers, knowing that their act of kindness could mean the difference between life and death. But being a hero isn't just about wearing capes or possessing superpowers. It's about embracing the power within each of us to make a positive impact, to extend a helping hand and to be the change we wish to see in the world. So today, I urge you: be a hero. Take a moment to consider the lives you could touch by donating blood. Your selfless act could bring comfort to a patient in need, joy to a family in crisis and hope to a community facing adversity. Together, let's make a pledge to give the gift of life, not just today, but every day. Let's honor the heroes who came before us and inspire the heroes of tomorrow. Because in a world where kindness is the currency of humanity, every drop of blood donated is a testament to the power of the human spirit. #WorldBloodDonorDay #BeAHero #GiveLife

Let’s do it
This year Ryan's London Office will be taking part in not one but two 100km walks in support of the Stroke Association. We will be walking on the London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge on 25-26 May and also doing the Thames Path Ultra Challenge on 14-15 September. For both walks, we will be walking through the night and try to complete the challenge within 24 hours or less. When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. The Stroke Association's specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives. Please give what you can! Thank you for your support!

Hello friends and family, https://lnkd.in/gWP96ptW This year marks my 15th consecutive Heart and Stroke Bike Ride, in June 2024. Each year passes by, we age. I don’t know how to act my age because I have never been this old before, but three things are certain, 1). I lose hair (no kidding !) 2). Aches and pains in every imaginable joint, and 3). Umh ahh, what I was going to say…. Oh yes , brain fog! By now you must be thinking this guy must be a master of his craft, far from the truth; despite the mountain of stuff happening in my life and in the world; new life challenges, new priorities, aging machinery with aches and pains in every imaginable joint !, & with many months of mental and physical fitness preparation. I am not letting this beat me down for what I have set myself to do year after year. Why ? Simple, because I can. I get goosebumps when my activities and your continued support have created more survivors and bring immense joy to families, whom we will never know or ever meet. ...,So, aside from having the pleasure to see me torture myself once again, my motivation is to keep going forward with my family and friends – under the hot summer "Jua Kali" - literal translation in swahili is "fierce sun", actually meaning "get it done" ! - Fix or do practically anything. In similar fashion, I am counting on your support once again to create more survivors ! "get-r-done !" A Tax-Deductible Receipt will be sent via email, kindly enter correct recipient information. Please make a donation by clicking on my personal page url below, then click the red "Donate Now" button. https://lnkd.in/gWP96ptW Thank you for your generous donation. It means a lot to me, and to those we are helping. Together, we'll beat heart disease and stroke Please share your heart and help me reach my fundraising goal – click on the link below to access my personal fundraising page to donate today. It’s fast, easy, and secure! Share my request with your family and friends, and together we can experience the real joy of creating survivors, life-changing moments of happiness to enrich our world. https://lnkd.in/gkxEvnJs
