Our new State of Digital Health Brief in support of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Initiative on Digital Health (GIDH) provides a data-driven analysis of digital health maturity across 47 countries, revealing both progress and persistent gaps. The Brief’s data comes from the 2024 Global Digital Health Monitor (GDHM) Survey and includes countries from all WHO regions. The GDHM is a powerful tool that will soon be officially launched as part of the WHO’s Data Hub to help set health priorities, encourage collaboration, standardize digital health frameworks, ensure interoperability, and monitor digital health transformation around the world. This Brief was made possible through the support of Fondation Pierre Fabre , and will be followed by a more detailed State of Digital Health Report 2025 later this year. Our new State of Digital Health Brief analyzes results from the 2024 Global Digital Health Monitor survey, which included 47 countries across all World Health Organization (WHO) regions. This interim report will be followed by a more detailed State of Digital Health Report 2025 later this year. In May 2025, the Monitor will formally transition to the WHO’s Data Hub, where it will be used to set health priorities, encourage collaboration, standardize digital health frameworks, ensure interoperability, and monitor #digitalhealth transformation around the world.
