I always find these types of survey results to be interesting. 💵 Over half of the CIOs surveyed wanted to leverage their existing IT purchases. I read this as they don't want new stuff, they want the stuff they have to work for them. I wonder why the gap. Did their expectation not meet what they were told they were purchasing, do they need more time to get to know and learn their products, or are there features and enhancements that they haven't been able to explore? ✨ AI and Machine Learning are generating more talk at the table. There seems to be a lot of AI/ML solutions entering the market; I would question do they actually solve industry problems? Does the AI/ML software really optimize workflow, reduce hands on time, or enhance data? Or does it require a lot of rework and quality control? I love a good process improvement solution, but not at the cost of waste or loss of quality. There is nothing more frustrating than a bad workflow. 🔒 CIOs are spending money on beefing up cybersecurity. Not surprising as we continue to hear about large organizations being hacked and held at ransom. It is convenient to have all of your technology eggs in one basket, but that comes with risk when all of your workflows grind to a halt when that platform is unavailable.
