We’re excited for this next chapter! Read more about our acquisition of Zeera below.
Today marks an exciting next chapter for the company: Zeera has been acquired by Hazel Health! Hazel Health is the nation’s leading provider of school-centered telehealth, and serves 5 million students across 17 states and counting. I was lucky to have met Hazel’s CEO, Josh Golomb, three years ago and feel even luckier for Zeera to officially be a part of Hazel today. A heartfelt thank you to Hazel’s team, and to Josh for his leadership and belief in the work we’ve done at Zeera. It's hard to capture this moment and this entire experience in a single post, but one feeling that is evident and clear is overwhelming gratitude. To Zeera's team and investors: Each of you has played an essential role in this journey and has built something special to meet the need for mental health support. Zeera makes working on your mental health accessible, affordable, seamless, beautiful. Zeera makes working on your mental health something to be proud of. Thank you for your talent, creativity, and unwavering commitment to our mission. To our partners: Thank you for believing in our vision and for trusting us to support the mental health of your teams and communities. This one hits home - literally! This is the system that raised me, that is educating my own children, and has always proved to rise to any occasion to fulfill its mission! I love Miami and my school district and I am eternally grateful to UHC C&S, MDCPS, and Hazel Health for collaborating to support the future of this amazing city! When I became a school administrator, my future mentor walked into a room and said that we better hold one truth - make sure that what you put forth for other people’s children is what you’d want for your own! I am humbled every day by the work of our clinicians, and they are who I choose for my own children, and now get to share them with their entire district! #thankful

The Hazel team had an incredible few days at HLTH USA this past week in Las Vegas! Read more for our key takeaways from #HLTH24 & check out a few of our favorite moments in the gallery below ⤵️ 👏 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 We had the honor of hosting two former Hazel student ambassadors - Fatima Magallon and Kimberly Moreno - to share their perspective with HLTH attendees and urge innovators and leaders that we must to better to serve children and teens. During a very powerful discussion and event yesterday hosted by HealthTech for Medicaid's Adimika Arthur and featuring Ivor Horn, MD, MPH, Jen Doorly Magaziner, Faith Polkey MD, MPH and Hazel's Josh Golomb and Travis Gayles MD, PhD, Fatima and Kimberly both shared that while technology has been an incredibly powerful tool for so many students, we must continue to find ways to build better relationships and support both students and their families to ensure that everyone can access the care that they need, when they need it the most. 🌟 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 Travis Gayles MD, PhD, Chief Health Officer at Hazel Health, had the pleasure of presenting the Best In Class - Kid's Health award to GoCheck Kids for their work in advancing pediatric screenings to improve health outcomes. Congratulations to the entire GoCheck Kids team and and the finalists NovaSight, nen and Clarity Pediatrics for your ongoing commitment to advancing pediatric care. 🩺 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 Andrea Willis, MD, SVP & Chief Medical Officer at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Jen Doorly Magaziner, VP of Digital Health at Boston Children's Hospital, Ellen D., CEO & Founder at Summer Health and Mark Del Monte J.D., CEO/Executive Vice President at the American Academy of Pediatrics and Travis Gayles MD, PhD, Chief Health Officer at Hazel celebrated the progress being made in pediatrics and how organizations are coming together to provide better and more accessible care for our younger populations -- but there is still a long way to go. We have to continue to create technology and solutions that easily integrate into communities, we must listen to the patients and children that we are serving, and build seamless pathways for care to improve the lives of children.
