What went into constructing the Logistics Building of the Year? When GXO partnered with Kellanova (the company behind Kellogg's cereal and Pringles chips) to build their largest logistics hub in Europe, we focused on safety, innovation and sustainability. Automation reduces the need for forklifts and trucks on the work floor, while separate access routes for passenger and freight vehicles eliminates the potential danger of intersections. Green initiatives like solar power, LED lighting, and biodiversity planning earned the site a coveted BREEAM "Excellent" certificate — and it was all built on a redeveloped brownfield site, turning an abandoned paint factory into a location that gives back to the community. 💫 Support to our local community 💫 Today, we have delivered donations to Jerry Green Dog Rescue . Thank you to the amazing team and especially to Amanda, who talked through what they are doing and how we can be involved going forward. Loads of training treats, food been donated to this great rescue centre. We even met Percy today. Last year, I won "One Wish" and received £100 which I wanted to support the local community, and especially the dog centre. Last year, we donated a bunch of goodies, and I wanted to carry on with this. Even looking forward to signing for volunteering for this centre. My Bela had a great time today as well, meeting the team and Percy. Percy was over the moon of the goodies 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you to the Ollerton team for supporting my wish and especially thank you to Marta Iesalniece and David Simmons , who supported me with donations and visited the rescue centre with me.
