📣 Announcement: We just raised $13.5 Mn as part of our Series B round But this one is not about the capital. This is about something else… This is about AMBITION. We are not just creating a platform, we are creating the ‘Social Entertainment’ category and a digital safe space for ‘Bharat’ This is about our CULTURE. We are 150 of us, but when we put our energy behind something, it feels like 1000+. From launching 8 languages to new products to new countries, this team breaks boundaries 👏 And most importantly, this is about EXECUTION - May 2024, we launched revenue and in less than a year are tracking to 200 cr ARR ($23.5Mn) with 1.5 Million paying users! Along with our team, we also want to thank every single creator on our platform who powers their household income by streaming on Eloelo. The time is not far away when people put “Streamer / Content Creator” as a job description on their LinkedIn bio Huge thanks to our believers at WaterBridge Ventures , Courtside Ventures , Kalaari Capital , Play Ventures , Gameskraft , MIXI, Inc , Griffin, Lumikai Fund , Rocket Capital! • Games aren’t just games anymore... and that’s a good thing. In March, we saw more proof that the best founders in this space are thinking beyond core gameplay loops. They’re building systems and making bold decisions around identity, expression, and community Whether it’s a global launch, a new way for creators to earn, or a media brand getting a second life with its original team, the work coming out of the Griffin portfolio this past month reflects where the industry is headed, not where it’s been. We rounded up the highlights in our monthly newsletter 👇

  • Our final #GDC2025 reflection: For the third year in a row, we teamed up with Scopely, TikTok, and Fenwick & West to bring together some of the most influential women in gaming for the Women in Games Brunch — one of our favorite events at GDC. ✨ The energy, the connections, the sheer force of talent in the room was a reminder that the future of gaming is already being shaped by the women leading it today. Founders, investors, executives, and creatives making things happen, lifting each other up, and redefining what leadership in gaming looks like. To all the women who joined us—thank you for showing up, for supporting each other, and for proving (yet again) that the game is better with you in it. Because let’s be honest… if the industry invested in women the way women invest in each other, we wouldn’t still be talking about representation. The talent is here. The leadership is here. The future of gaming is being built, and women are at the center of it.

      +1
  • A game. A company. A deal. An industry shift. Before any of these become reality, they start as an idea—shared between the right people at the right time. Last Tuesday at our #GDC2025 party, the room buzzed with brilliant minds, late-night debates about the future of gaming, and maybe even the spark of something big. You never know where one conversation might lead, and that’s the magic of events like this. A huge thank you to Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Adjust for helping us bring the night to life. And to everyone who joined us… same time next year?

  • Big news from Discord—and even bigger news for devs. Discord’s new Social SDK lets game studios of all sizes easily plug into its social ecosystem, unlocking richer multiplayer experiences and vibrant communities. The best part: it's completely free. We're excited to see where this takes gaming—because when communities thrive, games do too.

We're kicking off Game Developers Conference 2025 week with an exciting announcement! Today we're launching Discord Social SDK 🚀, enabling developers of all sizes to tap into Discord’s social infrastructure and drive their game’s social and multiplayer experiences for all their players — with or without a Discord account — at no cost. “For game creators from indie to AAA, Discord is where you can connect with the world's largest and most engaged community of players to fuel the growth of your game before, during, and after launch. Game discovery and retention have never been so critical, and we're excited to help developers grow their games by reaching gamers where they are." – Stanislav Vishnevskiy, Co-Founder and CTO Early developers leveraging Discord Social SDK include: Theorycraft Games, Facepunch Studios, 1047 Games, Scopely, Mainframe Industries, Elodie Games, Tencent Games, and more. Discord Social SDK is compatible with C++, both Unreal Engine and Unity, and supports Windows 11+ and macOS. Support for console and mobile is in the works and coming soon. 👀Check out these case studies of Theorycraft (https://lnkd.in/dYpRmxQ8) and Farm Merge Valley (https://lnkd.in/d2kzBftn) to see how Discord has become a launchpad where developers can cultivate thriving communities, connect with passionate players and watch their creations grow. And if you want to learn more about Discord Social SDK, read our blog (https://lnkd.in/d6WHtvF4) . Get out there and start playing 🎮! #LifeatDiscord #GDC2025

For years, the gaming industry has operated in parallel to entertainment. But the script has flipped. AI is transforming game development, emerging markets are driving new player behaviors, and Hollywood is recognizing that gaming isn’t just an adaptation goldmine; it’s the future of immersive storytelling… and they’re betting the future of entertainment on it. So what happens when the gaming industry isn’t just a player in entertainment — but the game-changer? Check out the latest Strictly Business Podcast where our Managing Director & Co-Founder Peter Y. Levin unpacks this defining moment. A huge thanks to Variety for the thought-provoking conversation. 🎧 Tune in: https://lnkd.in/g7CxXG8x 🔗 Read more: https://lnkd.in/guK7Rbp7

  • There’s something special about a game that unites people across generations, industries, and backgrounds. Yesterday, MTG at #GDC2025, powered by Griffin, tapped into that magic… literally. 🚀✨ Our annual Magic: The Gathering tournament brought together founders, investors, and gaming industry legends for an epic showdown. It was a battlefield filled with strategy, creativity, and camaraderie. From first-time players to seasoned veterans, every match reminded us why gaming is such a powerful connector. Thank you Cooley LLP for having us. A huge congratulations to Braden Moulton, our tournament champion! 🏆 And to everyone who played, cheered, or simply soaked in the vibes — GG. Until next time, may your decks always draw in your favor.💥
