The Golden Pass LNG team was thrilled to host 50 Mays Business School - Texas A&M University Trading, Risk and Investments Program (TRIP) students for a lecture on commodity risk and markets and the various career paths in the energy sector. Following an engaging discussion, we headed to Top Golf, where our team had the opportunity to network with the students, answer questions and share additional career insight. As an advisory board member of the TRIP program, Golden Pass LNG helps prepare students to hit the ground running in their careers. Throughout the year, our team engages with the students to provide industry insight and professional development opportunities, including paid internships that allow students to gain relevant experience in trading and investments and work with professionals at the top of their field. Golden Pass LNG contributed $25,000 to the Coastal Conservation Association to support reef restoration efforts along the Southeast Texas coast! This contribution will directly support the construction and deployment of artificial reef habitats for native fish and preserve recreational fishing for our local anglers. By investing in local youth, we’re empowering the workforce of the future. We were thrilled to sponsor the annual Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas Youth Career Expo, where 3,000+ area high school students had the opportunity to meet employers from local industries face-to-face and learn about the quality jobs available close to home. Local colleges, universities and training programs were also in attendance to help students connect their dreams and goals to the educational pathway that can get them there.
