Recently, volunteers from Cheniere and Bechtel Corporation spent their Saturday morning lending a helping hand to A Better Night’s Sleep, a program managed by Houston Children's Charity that provides mattresses, bed frames, sheets, pillows and blankets to children in need. These essential items were underwritten by Cheniere employees through our Employee Giving Fund. Volunteers directed traffic, counted and assembled linens and loaded mattresses and bed frames. At Cheniere, we are proud to support the communities where we live and work.

This week, we produced and exported our 4,000th cargo of U.S. LNG, loading the Maran Gas Ithaca at the Sabine Pass Liquefaction facility in Louisiana, making us the fastest company to accomplish the feat. “Producing our 4,000th cargo in just over nine years of LNG operations is yet another achievement enabled by the commitment to reliability, safety and operational excellence shared by everyone at Cheniere,” said Jack Fusco, Cheniere’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are proud to reach this milestone faster than any LNG producer in history, and look forward to safely and reliably producing the next 4,000 cargoes for our customers as we expand to meet the world's growing energy needs.” Cheniere exported its first LNG cargo in 2016. Today, Cheniere’s LNG has reached more than 40 markets in five continents and accounts for approximately 50% of U.S. LNG exports. Today, we announced that substantial completion of Train 1 at the Corpus Christi Stage 3 Liquefaction Project (CCL Stage 3) was achieved March 16, 2025. Commissioning is complete, and our engineering, procurement and construction partner, Bechtel Corporation, has turned over care, custody and control of Train 1 and associated systems to us. Upon substantial completion of all seven trains of CCL Stage 3, the expected total LNG production capacity of the Corpus Christi Liquefaction facility will be over 25 mtpa.    “The substantial completion of the first train of CCL Stage 3 – ahead of schedule and on budget – marks another important milestone for Cheniere and further builds upon the track record of excellence in execution consistently delivered by the Cheniere and Bechtel teams,” said Jack Fusco, Cheniere’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We remain focused on safely and efficiently bringing the remaining CCL Stage 3 trains online ahead of schedule, providing much-needed new LNG supply to the global market, and creating long-term value for our stakeholders by growing the Corpus Christi platform with disciplined, brownfield growth." The enduring – and growing – role of natural gas and LNG in the global energy mix is undeniable. Our President and CEO, Jack Fusco, drove home that point at CERAWeek in Houston. “I’ve always been a big believer that natural gas is not only the cleanest of the fossil fuels but also the most flexible,” said Fusco, who, prior to leading Cheniere, spent 36 years in power generation. “I am not surprised that we have been full circle, from calling it a transition fuel, then a bridge fuel, to now being the fuel of choice.” #EnergizingAMoreSecureFuture #CERAWeek
