Roundtables - Host and Participant Spots Now Open! Blueprint was created to reimagine the built world and to welcome both the transformers and the adopters. For the latter, we know using and piloting tech can be challenging. Fragmentation, complexity, and proving ROI are real hurdles. That’s why we launched the Blueprint Roundtable program: private, peer-to-peer conversations for forward-thinking execs innovating in their asset class. In 2023 and 2024, participation was invite-only. For 2025, we’re opening up applications—giving more owners, operators, developers, brokerages, and GCs access to these powerful peer discussions. Blueprint: The Future of Real Estate reposted this
Had a great time attending the Thesis Driven Subscriber event hosted by Brad Hargreaves and Kamrin Klauschie called Real Estate Tech: State of the Union. Loved Dave Eisenberg refer to the 'Hot or Not' in the built world game using a Bruno reference! (ChatGPT spat out the below image which kind of looks like a bizarre Sacha Baron Cohen / Pat Butcher from Eastenders (reference for any brits my age) / Henry VII combo...) HOT > Financial operations of residential property management. (still a fair amount of lowly paid people doing work here for invoices, billing etc - might be disrupted soon) - Dave Eisenberg > Robots in Construction - Heather Widman NOT > Office: hard for startups serving the sector > OpCo PropCo - hard to do 2 businesses well. Does it have value add vs a big operator (advantage of cost of capital, team, relationships) > ESG as a term but energy efficient focus not going away Fundraising > Remen Okoruwa made an interesting point about the value of going to strategic capital. Less competitive and don’t have to be a multi-billion outcome. Will let you grow a bit in the early years. AI was of course mentioned. > Is there value in application to sectors? Yes according to the panel but defensibility key. Founder Mentality > Loved L.D. Salmanson comment that great founders show investors and partner they can 'will an idea into existence'. Great catching up with old and new friends alike! Cem (Kemal) Mimaroğlu Ryan Elazari Donal Warde Julie Blanc Omer Kucukdere and other friends of Blueprint: The Future of Real Estate! https://lnkd.in/eAUjP8-x
