AmCham’s Thanksgiving Gala Raises Record Funds for Transformative Initiatives The Thanksgiving Gala Dinner, hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, brought together 422 guests, including U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier, former President Atifete Jahjaga, and Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama. Keynote remarks were delivered by Ambassador Hovenier, while President Vjosa Osmani addressed attendees through a video message, highlighting AmCham’s crucial role in driving impactful initiatives that benefit communities across Kosovo. This year’s Gala raised €82,480, marking a record amount in the history of AmCham’s fundraising efforts. Funds raised during the Gala will support transformative projects in 2025, such as STEM education for girls, scholarships for marginalized students, expanding rural school libraries to minority areas, mental health support for children and adolescents, and digital literacy programs for rural communities. These initiatives underscore AmCham’s dedication to fostering education, inclusion, and innovation throughout Kosovo.
