Through meetings and feedback, Council members influence policy decisions and training programs, enhancing care quality and employee satisfaction. We are proud to have Cathleen Soda, Director of Patient Safety, serving as the Chair of the CNA Leadership Council. With 31 years of experience as a Registered Nurse—26 of those years with our organization—Cathy has held various roles, including Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Regional Nurse Consultant. Now, as Chair, she leads the team with a steadfast commitment to improving patient care and supporting CNA development. Cathy is supported by 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁, CNA at 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗿, who serves as the Co-Chair of the CNA Leadership Council.   • Introducing another new Future Operations Leader, Jalice Speed, BSHSA, CHFP, CPhT! 🎉 Jalice holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from Bay Path University, a Healthcare Financial Professional Certification from the HEALTHCARE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (HFMA), and proudly serves as a DEI committee member for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHENJ). With experience leading specialty pharmacy programs across various ambulatory care settings, as well as hospital outpatient pharmacy operations, she brings a strong background in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and health system relationship management. She also holds a Master's in Nursing Education and is a Legal Nurse Consultant as well as a Registered Mediator/Arbitrator in Georgia. Since joining our organization in 2017, Mary has been instrumental in supporting our clinical, operational, and legal teams by providing guidance and education on managing family expectations, ensuring defensible documentation, and mitigating risk. In her new role, Mary will oversee clinical risk strategy, leading a team focused on litigation prevention, risk mitigation, and claims reduction.
