Our #CorpusChristi office had an amazing time hosting students from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, sharing their passion with the next generation of #engineering talent. The students got a firsthand look at the industry by shadowing our engineers, joining project meetings, exploring Freese and Nichols' history and gaining hands-on experience.

As #water systems update their risk and #resilience and emergency plans to meet fast-approaching deadlines, #cybersecurity is getting added scrutiny. The #EPA has been auditing plans across the U.S. to make sure adequate safeguards are in place. Freese and Nichols’ nationwide team of #water and #wastewater engineers can help systems with #AWIA compliance, audit preparation and cybersecurity improvements. Our #Houston team made waves at the 53rd Annual Buffalo Bayou Regatta, the largest canoe and kayak race in #Texas. The #BBPRegatta supports the Buffalo Bayou Partnership and its mission to revitalize and preserve Houston’s iconic Buffalo Bayou. Participants help further the nonprofit’s efforts to maintain and care for the historic waterway. Paddling 15 scenic miles into downtown Houston, our team enjoyed the city views, supported their #community and embraced the spirit of #teamwork every stroke of the way. And each of our pairs crossed the finish line in around 3 hours.

Kara Marks, Debora Winegar, Jesse Rodriguez and his wife joined volunteers from the City of San Antonio Aviation Department to help with river cleanup as part of the 30th annual #BasuraBash, hosted by River Aid San Antonio (RASA). At their Salado Creek site, 61 volunteers cleaned up 1.92 tons of trash. Kara, an Environmental Scientist, Debora, a Construction Manager, and Jesse, a Document Control Specialist, are part of Freese and Nichols’ team providing Program Management and Construction Management services for the $2.5B multi-phase San Antonio International Airport (SAT) Development Program. Our #Florida offices hosted their first #WomensHistoryMonth event, bringing team members together for a day of connection and celebration. #Jacksonville, our first all-female office in Freese and Nichols history, joined forces with #Tampa to kick off the festivities. The event featured trivia bingo during lunch, highlighting fun facts and achievements of Florida’s female personnel, followed by a Women’s History Month-themed canvas painting activity organized by the Florida Fun Team, showcasing the significance of the colors of purple, green and white. We love seeing our team #EngageAsFamily and champion initiatives that celebrate and uplift one another.
