Meet Anne, Compliance Lead at Found. Anne works to promote responsible innovation at Found—ensuring that we're staying in lock step with applicable banking regulations. On an average day you can find her performing compliance monitoring and testing, tracking and remediating compliance issues, and analyzing and responding to regulatory complaints. Anne was excited to join a company committed to helping self-employed individuals: "I really loved the Found product itself and how it lowers the barrier of entry for those who want to become self-employed.” And she loves to share Found with her network—"One of my friends used Found to establish her clinical therapy private practice. I love having people reach out to me to share how much they love using Found and how much of an impact it has made on their small business.” Outside of Found, Anne enjoys snowboarding, crafting cocktails, and honing her photography skills. Interested in working with Anne? She’s searching for our next Compliance Analyst. Check out the job posting at found.com/careers. We can’t wait to hear from you!

With over half the U.S. workforce predicted to be self-employed by 2027, we’re proud to be meeting a real and growing need. Self-employment can be infinitely rewarding, but it comes with a host of challenges. The independence of entrepreneurship can instead feel like a maze of paperwork. That’s where we can help. Found automatically tracks expenses, estimates taxes, and keeps the books organized, all from one easy app. With a Found account, everything from business banking to invoicing to reporting is at your fingertips. In the words of one of our members, “it has given me so much financial freedom and free time.” We’re driven by our mission and we work in support of entrepreneurship, independence, and the sheer joy of loving what you do. Come love what you do at Found. Found is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by Piermont Bank, Member FDIC. It can be tough keeping business and personal finances separate — especially if you're running into cash-flow issues. But mixing accounts can lead to missed tax deductions and financial headaches. A good rule of thumb is to open a business bank account and ensure that you’re only using it for business transactions.

Good news: if you drove your car for your business in 2024, then the miles you clocked could save you some money! The IRS increased the mileage deduction to 67 cents per mile (up from 65.5 cents). Remember that driving your car for your business can take several forms — whether it’s delivering for DoorDash or meeting a client at their gym for a personal training session — so make sure you’re keeping track of all business-related driving.

We’re honored to be included on the Forbes #Fintech50 list for the second year in a row! 🎉 Huge thanks to all of the small businesses that allowed us to be part of their journey. Your drive and ambition inspire us each and every day.
Even as venture capital funding for the industry continued to fall in 2024, many fintechs–especially those serving other businesses—flourished. Here’s the Forbes #Fintech50 for 2025. (Illustration: Oscar Rana for Forbes) https://lnkd.in/eCZe2wU3
