This comprehensive build-out transformed a former CVS store into a modern, 13,750 sq ft medical clinic. “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” Albert Einstein Today we’re celebrating Senior Project Manager Ryan Trotnic’s one-year anniversary at Forge Construction! Ryan’s journey in the construction industry spans nearly his entire life. He began at just 14 years old, working at a small-town lumber yard and earning extra income by teaming up with builders on projects like fences, decks, house remodels, and anything else that came his way. A family friend who owned a masonry company also gave Ryan the chance to work as a hod carrier and bricklayer while attending PSU. After graduation, Ryan settled in Kansas City, where he has built a career that has included superintendent, estimator, project manager, construction administration. What Ryan loves most about the construction industry—and his role at Forge—is the opportunity to work directly with owners and end users to create spaces that reflect their dreams and ideas. Being part of a team that turns those visions into reality is incredibly rewarding. As Ryan puts it, “The relationships you build along the way, as well as overcoming challenges, bring a sense of gratification that’s unmatched!” Outside of work, Ryan enjoys playing golf with his partner and other half, working on home improvement projects, and supporting his children, who are involved in various extracurricular and athletic activities.
