SMU Cox - Folsom Institute for Real Estate reposted this
Last month, RISE hosted an engaging case competition as part of our ongoing series for analysts currently enrolled in our program. We're excited to spotlight one of this semester’s standout competitions, which focused on a six-pack industrial portfolio from a lender’s perspective. This scenario challenged our analysts to devise creative debt financing solutions that they would confidently propose as lenders. The teams had the opportunity to present their proposals to a panel of highly experienced judges with extensive backgrounds in industrial sectors. A special thank you to Al Sorrels, Denton Walker, Chuck Dannis, and Dante Krieger for their insightful feedback and commitment to nurturing talent within the SMU real estate community. Your expertise and guidance are invaluable. We're incredibly grateful for the continued support from our advisors and look forward to the program's continued growth!
