Yesterday, on #AutismAwarenessDay, I had the privilege of welcoming my friends from Vista Autism Services to our Fluxspace Middletown location! They’ve been working with our Fork Farms Flex Farm over the last few weeks, gaining valuable volunteer hours for their transition services in their IEP while also building essential life skills. Over the next 30-day grow cycle, they’ll nurture fresh lettuce, and once it's ready—we’re planning a salad party with the other students! 🥗🎉 The Flex Farm is an incredible, adaptable tool for all learners, providing hands-on experiences and increasing access to fresh food for everyone.
