  • Incredible to see Flutter UK & Ireland doing some incredible work through our commitment to giving back via the ‘Do More’ pledge of our #PositiveImpactPlan, our global commitment to give back to communities and causes where we live, work and play. Sky Betting & Gaming’s Every Minute Matters campaign with the British Heart Foundation has already smashed its original goal of getting 270,000 people to learn CPR before the Sky Bet EFL play-offs. Now, with time to spare, the bar has been raised to 360,000 — that’s FOUR Wembley Stadiums worth of people learning a life-saving skill 🙌 The campaign’s success has been boosted by the Every Minute Matters Relay - two simultaneous 2,000km routes passing all 72 EFL club stadiums, powered by colleagues from across Flutter, the EFL, and BHF, plus some football legends along the way. A huge thank you to all taking part and those colleagues making it happen!

    Sky Bet – Every Minute Matters --- At Flutter UK & Ireland we’re passionate about giving back and supporting our local communities as part of our ‘Do More’ pledge. One partnership I’m particularly proud of is Sky Bet’s ‘Every Minute Matters’ campaign with the British Heart Foundation (BHF). The partnership was launched just under a year ago and set the ambitious goal of encouraging 270,000 people – equivalent to three Wembley stadiums - to start learning CPR by the 24/25 Sky Bet EFL (English Football League) play-offs at the end of May. I’m incredibly pleased that we’ve reached this target, and with over a month to go until the play-offs, we’re setting a new ambition to reach 360,000 people, taking the total up to four times the capacity of Wembley stadium. Hitting our goal ahead of time follows the success of our Sky Bet EFL Every Minute Matters Relay which kicked off last week. With the help of the EFL, the Sky Bet team has created a relay consisting of two simultaneous 2,000km routes, with colleagues from Flutter, the EFL and BHF, running, walking, and cycling past each of the 72 EFL club stadiums alongside some of football’s biggest household names. Everyone taking part is asking friends and family to sponsor them by donating 15 minutes of their time to learn CPR via the BHF’s RevivR online tool. So far, over 75 people have taken part, covering over 1,500m. We’ve also been joined on the relay by comedian and Swansea fan Ellis James, with Dion Dublin and Phil Jagielka due to take part. Please do what you can to spread the word and encourage others to donate their time and learn what is a truly life-saving skill. All you need is your phone and a cusion from a couch! A huge thanks and well done to the team for pulling this off, and I’m looking forward to cheering on my colleagues who are taking part in the relay later this month.

  • Flutter UK & Ireland recently revealed the 200 clubs across the UK & Ireland that have just received a £2,000 share of this year’s £400,000 #Cash4Clubs fund. Clubs like Parkinson’s Ninja C.I.C. and Wales Armed Forces Veterans Football Club will use this support to improve facilities, buy new equipment, and boost adult participation in sport. Since its launch, Flutter’s #Cash4Clubs initiative has invested nearly £6.5M into grassroots community sports, helping local clubs thrive. This initiative is a key part of Flutter’s global Positive Impact Plan, which aims to improve the lives of 10 million people in the communities where we operate by 2030. This collaboration aligns with Flutter’s Positive Impact Plan, reinforcing our commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment for all.   The JAM Card, developed by the NOW Group, is a simple yet powerful tool that allows individuals with learning difficulties, autism, or communication barriers to discreetly request ‘Just A Minute’ of patience when navigating our office environment. By adopting this initiative, we’re taking another meaningful step toward ensuring that everyone - whether colleagues, visitors, or partners - feels comfortable and supported within our spaces.   We are also implementing the JAM Card for Business training program – this interactive eLearning course will equip our staff with the skills to recognize and address communication barriers, ensuring a more inclusive and welcoming workplace.   Many organizations across Ireland have already embraced the JAM Card initiative, helping to break down barriers and create a more accessible society, with the hope to trial and roll this out further afield 👏 💥 #PositiveImpactPlan #WorkBetter
