Green and Mrs. Dorothea Green—visionary philanthropists and transformational champions of FIU. We also marked 35 years of remarkable generosity from the Green Family Foundation, led by President Kimberly Green. Their unwavering commitment has shaped the global future of our students, faculty, and programs. The celebration brought together leaders, alumni, diplomats, and friends to honor the Greens’ legacy—including FIU Interim President Jeanette Nuñez, Provost Elizabeth Bejar, and distinguished guests such as US Ambassador Lui Tuck Yew, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, and many more.
