We're a survivor-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit that financially empowers survivors of domestic abuse. Using our backgrounds in tech and finance, we build digital tools that make financial education and resources accessible to survivors through a trauma-informed lens. Survivor voices inform everything we do. Together, we're working towards a future in which everyone has the financial security to live free from abuse and thrive.

FinAbility is seeking volunteer Financial Mentors to provide free, trauma-informed 1:1 mentoring to survivors of domestic violence. 🌟 Why Mentor? As a volunteer, you’ll empower survivors to regain financial stability, break free from abuse, and build a brighter future. 🌟 About the Program: 🔹 Help survivors assess their finances, build credit, budget, and set financial goals 🔹 Sessions are virtual, flexible, and based on mentor/mentee availability 🔹 1-year commitment, 3–5 hrs/month 🔹 Training provided in trauma-informed, empowerment-based support 📩 Ready to make an impact?     2024 #ImpactPartner FinAbility was recently featured on KGW-TV's Hello Rose City, where Executive Director Stacy Sawin highlighted their programs. Their new Savings Matching Program, launching in 2025, will provide $500 savings matches and financial mentorship to help survivors build economic independence.
