FEDERAL PROTECTION AGENCY, INC

On 11 March 2025 at approximately 20:00 hrs, Officer Damita Evans was conducting her duties at her assigned post in Portage, Indiana when an unidentified male in his personal vehicle (with no visible identifying apparel or ID) approached the guardhouse alleging to have a UPS delivery while simultaneously demanding to be let onto the client’s property. Officer Evans proceeded to request this individual’s ID, however the individual refused to provide an ID.  Upon refusing to produce an ID, Ofc. Evans quickly took a photo of the license plate and the unidentified individual. Ofc. Evans subsequently notified the proper client supervisor who came to the gate to assist.  Upon being instructed to leave the property, the unidentified individual refused to do so and began making racially charged comments towards Officer Evans.  Officer Evans (while remaining calm, polite and professional) proceeded to contact the authorities via 911.  The incident was ultimately resolved with no injuries or further issues as a proximal result of Officer Evans maintaining her composure and professional demeanor.  Ofc. Evans professionalism, quick response, and thorough follow through is an excellent example and testament to the effectiveness of critical thinking and composure while remaining mindful of the de-escalation principles during high stress incidents.  Since her hire date of 16 January 2025, Ofc. Evans has routinely demonstrated these qualities in conjunction with her willingness to take on shifts and extra duties as requested. On Saturday 15 March 2025, a last-minute call-off left little time to staff critical coverage needs at a Client facility in Portage, Indiana.  Ofc. Lineburg had requested the day off a week prior to tend to family matters.  Understanding we had no officers to work the shift in question, Ofc. Lineburg selflessly rearranged his family plans and covered the call-off.  This is only one example of the numerous times Ofc. Lineburg has assisted in this manner (for multiple Client facilities) when needed on short notice.  Ofc.
