Can you spot a deepfake? As the proliferation of deepfakes becomes increasingly common, the ability to identify or limit their spread is essential. Created in collaboration with The Wilson Center as part of their Wilson Center | Serious Games Initiative, “The Deepfake Files” is a multiplayer interactive created to educate all ages on deepfakes and the different types of mitigation and identification strategies created to combat them.
Set in a retro 1980s office, players join the Content Authority Tracking Team under their judgemental feline boss, and evaluate the various strategies for their strengths and weaknesses.
