What in the world?! I just came across this commercial for Micron that Curious Media was featured in. It was posted 5 years ago so it's pretty dated but it was fun to see. https://lnkd.in/gkPrd24Q

We are so grateful to be a part of Yolanda Martinez's amazing story! Thanks Mrs. Banks, and all the other teachers out there that inspire kids to follow their dreams and develop their talents. You literally have one of the most important/under appreciated jobs in the world!
After my wonderful experience, this past weekend, I was reminiscing back to my humble beginnings. Where my artist endeavors started. Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, I never imagined being awarded my first medal for highest achievement in AP Studio Art from my art teacher, Mrs.Banks. That was a pivotal moment, that would inspire me to continue to thrive in a challenging world. Without her guidance, I wouldn't be the artist that I am today. The journey came full circle as the opportunity to return to Los Angeles and receive an Emmy for Outstanding Interactive Media for Donkey Hodie-Cousin Playdate was an incredible honor. Collaborating with Fred Rogers Productions to create content that helps neurodivergent children develop empathy skills was both rewarding and fulfilling. With great appreciation and self reflection, I want to thank, Thomas Jefferson High School, for playing such an integral role in my professional journey. I’m deeply thankful to Curious Media Inc. for the incredible opportunity to continue to grow and evolve as an artist. #curiosmedia #illustrator #ChildrensAndFamilyEmmys #CAFE #NATAS

We won an Emmy for Outstanding Interactive Media along with our good friends Fred Rogers Productions for Cousin Hodie Playdate! "It was a humbling and exciting experience to be surrounded by such talented creatives. The moment we were announced as the winners of an Emmy for an interactive game designed to help neurodivergent children was truly amazing." - Yolanda Martinez

Here at Curious Media, we take the Christmas season very seriously! #throwbackthursday to that time that we took the local #flyingmcoffee gingerbread contest way too far! We pulled the team together and baked a good 25+ pounds of gingerbread and built a mechanical Space Invaders style arcade game using some spare LEGO Mindstorm parts we had laying around. There was a $50 dollar gift card on the line and we weren't about to phone it in! #christmas #happyholidays

Many moons ago, we created this spooktacular user generated maze game for Disney. It ended up doing really well- supporting hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of mazes created, shared and played by fans. It was called Monster Maze Mania and featured characters from some of the big shows of that time including Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, Austin & Ally and Jessie. It was really fun to watch the organic growth of mazes built off of each other from the minimap. Each maze connected on each side to other mazes next to it, making an almost endless labyrinth of content for users to compete against each other for the most treats, treasures and points for the month of October. #throwbackthursday #monstober

We are thrilled to introduce the 2024 edition of curiousmedia.com! As this year marks 20 years of keepin’ it curious at Curious Media, we thought it was high time to refresh our website. So we did. The last update was in 2016 and still looks pretty good but the industry and our services have evolved quite a bit and we needed a website that could better reflect the broad spectrum of our services and showcase our unique curious nature and our passion to make JOY. We hope you enjoy looking around and finding some fun easter eggs. If you see something you love or recognize, give us a shout!
