Updates

  • The CARE team has established strong relationships with our City departments including Police, Fire, Public Works, Transit and the Library - and this collaboration is enhancing our ability to help people in our community. Between October 2024 and February 2025, the CARE team received over 250 calls for service from the Everett Police Department alone and worked closely with them to create an easy way to make referrals. One such call resulted after Officer Eastham assisted Ronnie and Deanna (shown in image) with accessing the cold weather shelter. The CARE team followed up the next day, connecting them to case management and helping them access a phone to stay in touch about their appointments. Most recently, we received an update that they moved into an apartment and have made major strides addressing other important needs. Join us in congratulating Ronnie and Deanna! And a big thank you to our Police and Community Support Teams. We appreciate all the work you do to support our community members and give them opportunities for stability and success!
