Jim is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in team guidance, complex project management, and strategic goal achievement. With 30 years in the surveying field, he possesses a comprehensive and in-depth mastery of transportation surveying skills. Jim is a member of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors (NCSS) and serves as the Chair of the Standards and Practice Committee. Jim received his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and his BS in Surveying from Ohio State University. He is a Professional Licensed Surveyor in NC, SC, OH, TN, VA, GA, FL, AL, KY, IL, and IN. With over 35 years of experience in landscape architecture and sustainable urbanism, Auggie has contributed his expertise across various sectors including parks, trails, streetscapes, brownfield redevelopment, transportation planning, and transit corridor design. His work, both locally and abroad, is illustrated by his leadership in team settings where he thrives on integrating diverse perspectives to foster innovative solutions. He has successfully led numerous projects that emphasize sustainable and community-centric planning in the Charlotte-metro area and beyond.
