7,994,021,448,477 lbs. That’s how much hazardous material was reported through Encamp this Tier II season. Yep... nearly 8 trillion pounds 👀 And every pound of it (where it is, how it's stored, what hazards it has, and lots more) is now known to first responders, state agencies, and local emergency planners. All without enterprise EHS teams spending thousands of hours buried in manual work. It’s not every day you see a number in the trillions. But it helps tell the story of just how much complexity and scale environmental professionals manage. And how massive the data challenge really is. This number is one way to see it. But there’s more behind the scenes. With Encamp, companies just: 🧪 Collected and analyzed 246,282 unique materials—without having to decode every safety data sheet or cross-check state-specific thresholds (Encamp’s platform handled it). 📑 Filed over 23,000+ Tier II and HMBP reports directly to state regulators, without getting into state portals or using copy-paste a single time. 📬 Sent 18,000+ certified mailers to regulatory agencies—automatically, on time, and with full documentation. 💸 Paid over $1.6M in regulatory submission fees—accurately and effortlessly, with flexible billing in arrears (IYKYK... truing up billing for individual facility compliance fees all before a submission deadline is a gigantic headache...) Meanwhile, teams still managing compliance the old-fashioned way are spending months collecting data, manually jamming information into state portals, chasing down mailers, and worrying about fees and documentation. Encamp customers are telling us something different. They're telling us they’ve already reclaimed Q1. And they’re ahead of the game for 2025. These are the teams that have the data, bandwidth, and expert support to treat compliance not as a burden, but as a competitive advantage. These are the people leading their companies forward—while protecting human and environmental health. So next time you meet an environmental compliance professional? Tell them thanks for keeping on top of all that stuff. Because nearly 8 trillion pounds of hazardous materials are being tracked and reported on with precision in the United States each year. And that’s just what we have in Encamp.

There's a lot of uncertainty in the air right now for teams managing environmental compliance and risk for enterprise companies. Keeping up with regulations is a challenge. Even when there isn't much change to the requirements year to year. When there's lots of change, or potential for change, this challenge only grows. Companies that use and store hazardous chemicals have been trying to understand what they need to do for Risk Management Planning regulations for the last decade. Since 2014, changes have been made, rolled back, made again, and are now being rolled back again. This hasn't changed whether companies have been required to adhere to Risk Management Planning regulations in general, but it has changed what companies need to do and be prepared for. How do you think strategically about your operations, data, compliance, and software needs when the ground is shifting beneath your feet? Hundreds of enterprise companies across more than 33,000 regulated facilities have accomplished this by partnering with Encamp to establish best-in-class compliance processes for their hazardous chemical programs. Companies partner with our team of experts to achieve and maintain continuous compliance, leveraging Encamp's software platform that integrates seamlessly with government agencies, provides transparency across and within all facilities, and automates report submissions. As the world continues to change, Encamp will always be here to support EHS teams working to protect the companies they serve and ensure the safety of first responders and the community. If your company has to keep up with the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, or related regulations like RMP, Encamp can be your solid ground. That way no matter what the future holds, your company will be ahead of the curve.
