🚨#FunFactFriday is here — with a doozy! FACT: Not all AI is created equal — and not all AI is AI. 👀 Allow us to break this down for you. Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the capability of a machine or a computer program to mimic and execute tasks that typically require human intelligence. In the words of literal AI wizard Samuel Jefroykin 🎗️, Director of Data & AI Research here at Eleos, “AI is the capacity of a machine to reproduce a task that would usually require human intelligence to achieve.” According to the American Medical Association, Augmented Intelligence (AI) is a conceptualization of Artificial Intelligence that emphasizes AI’s assistive role. Yes, both terms are abbreviated as AI — and are often used interchangeably. But they don’t mean the same thing ✨ at all✨. One suggests replacing a human, and one is enhancing human output. That’s why we prefer the term augmented intelligence, because we don’t seek to replace #BehavioralHealthProviders — but to remove burdens that get in the way of them doing their best work. Now that we’ve explained the latter portion of our #FunFact, let’s talk about the former. Not all AI is created equal. Fact-within-a-fact, AI — artificial or augmented — is only as good as the data it’s trained on. For us, that means ensuring the data is behavioral health-specific, diverse and as unbiased as possible, and clinically accurate. Building a great behavioral health AI — augmented — model means equipping the AI with a foundational understanding (akin to K-12 education), and then sending it to “grad school” for a behavioral health specialization. The end goal is an AI that’s not only proficient in behavioral language, but also capable of processing any subject that might surface during a session. Most importantly, it prioritizes delivering the insights the clinician needs in order to make informed decisions—not prescribing what the clinician should do. 💥 So there you have it. A bit of education for your Friday. Happy weekend, everybody!

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: We’re famous! 🤩 But this one just #HitsDifferent. Naturally, everyone loves being #InTheNews — and being recognized for clear vision, amazing results, and insightful forward-thinking is always great — but being recognized for the human aspect is an entirely unique experience. You’ve likely seen our #HumansofEleos posts where we highlight the incredible work our people team does to build a powerful, human-centered culture, despite employees spanning the globe — and an entirely remote U.S. team. Being recognized by Newsweek as a great place to work validates all that hard work — and all the behind-the-scenes, heads-down work of the people team, the executive teams, the individual leaders, and every single employee. In the words of the incomparable Elle Woods, “We did it!” See the full list 👉 https://hubs.li/Q03gyTmX0 #HumansAtWork #GreatPlaceToWork #YouCareWeCare

Yesterday we shared the groundbreaking idea that the right tools, the right technology, and the right partner can help #BehavioralHealth quality staff feel a little less Monday-ey, and a little more excited about the start of a work week. Today, we’re going to build on that sentiment with some useful #TuesdayTips, complete with the real-world stats from GRAND Mental Health and Merakey to back up the claims. 💪 👉 Tip No. 1️⃣ → Audit teams should be laser-focused on the risky notes. This sounds like common sense, but isn’t how most orgs operate today. Quality teams manually pore over a random sample of notes, searching for notes that miss the mark — while the notes that actually miss the mark potentially fly under the radar. ✨ The Eleos Effect: All notes are automatically scanned in near-real time, alerting auditors to high risk areas and refocusing their time on reducing those risks. 📊 The Proof: Merakey and GRAND lifted their note review from 5-10% to 100% of notes, a 10-20x increase — with audit teams only chasing down the few notes that didn’t pass inspection. 👉 Tip No. 2️⃣ → Your feedback loops to providers should be targeted — and timely. Another tip that sounds so reasonable — but is harder than it looks. Thanks to the slow, manual review process most organizations feel stuck with, feedback loops can take months to get back to providers. By then, the provider likely doesn’t even remember much of the session, let alone what they should’ve documented for it. ✨ The Eleos Effect: Real-time note review means supervisors get back to providers quickly, targeting the training and maximizing feedback impact — supercharging meaningful change. 📊 The Proof: Meraky and GRAND shortened feedback cycles by 180x, from 6 months to 1 day. 👀 👉 Tip No. 3️⃣ → Quality teams are people too. No one likes to work under mountains of paperwork — or at least, not anyone we know. Quality team members want to take the data hiding in Mt. Paperwork and analyze it, identifying the key nuggets businesses can use to actually improve on the metrics being tracked. ✨ The Eleos Effect: With note review handled by Eleos, quality teams can apply their skills to reducing risk. Yes, it is that simple! 📊 The Proof: 100% of at-risk documentation was caught and discussed with providers at GRAND and Merakey, allowing both orgs to breathe easier. Well, there you have it. The proof behind the pudding, er the Eleos. 👏 Ready to talk to an expert? Or just want to learn more? Peep the comments for some helpful links! #YouCareWeCare #DocumentationIntegrity #Compliance

Ever have a #CaseOfTheMondays so bad, you hit snooze until the alarm clock stops snoozing? Yeah, us too. Whether your alarm clock goes off at 5AM or 10AM, whether your work week starts on Monday or Wednesday — the transition from not-work to work is rough for most of us. Unless we want to get to work this week because we have something we can’t wait to do. Or use. Or….both. 👀 With Eleos Compliance, CQI and CDI teams are reporting back overwhelmingly positive responses — including tears of joy. How’s that for a fresh start to a work week? And yes, we are (rather boldly) saying that there is a way to wake your CQI teams up for work with a spring in their step. Eleos Compliance is more than an #AISolution, more than an administrative burden resolver, more than a way out from under the mountains of not reviews your teams are manually slogging through today. It’s a feedback-loop shortener, a risk reducer, and a focus-generating ✨machine✨. See what we did there? 😉 Learn more about how Eleos Compliance can help your teams shake off the #MondayBlues at the link below. 👇 #BehavioralHealthCompliance #BehavioralHealthSolutions #AIForGood

We’re almost through #WomensHistoryMonth and here at Eleos, the incredible people team worked up a Women’s Table Talk for us to gather, communicate, and truly get to know one another on a deeper level. As you can see from our genuinely smiling faces, the time was invaluably spent—and emotional too. As a fully remote U.S. team, it can be challenging for us to feel connected. Today reinforced our professional and personal connections to each other and helped us strengthen our bonds as amazing women who truly care about each other — and our clients, the heroes in behavioral health. As we get ready to end this month, let’s remember that #WomensHistory happens every day, and that all humans crave personal connections — even at work. #HumansofEleos #HumansAtWork #YouCareWeCare
