Excited to announce that financing on the EDF Renewables-developed Desert Quartzite Solar+Storage Project, jointly owned with Power Sustainable Energy Infrastructure Inc. (PSEI), has been closed. KfW IPEX-Bank, together with MUFG Bank Ltd, Export Development Canada | Exportation et développement Canada, Korea Development Bank, and 4 other participating banks, provided long-term debt financing for the recently operational project. It’s official: The EDF Technical Training Center at Riverland Community College is open. On April 9, EDF Renewables joined representatives from Riverland Community College and local county leadership for a ribbon-cutting ceremony unveiling the newly named facility. The opening program included remarks from RCC President Kathleen Linaker and Mark Johnson, EVP Asset Optimization for EDF Renewables. “The Technical Training Center is a testament to EDF Renewables and our leadership’s investment in the growth and development of our workforce,” Mark shared. “By integrating cutting-edge technology and hands-on learning, we are not only enhancing the skill set of our technicians but also ensuring they can navigate their roles with utmost safety and confidence.” “For over 35 years, EDF Renewables has remained a leader in the renewable energy industry, and this new center ensures that tradition continues by investing in the workforce of tomorrow,” said Dr. Linaker.
